Train Attack: TUC Sec-Gen Laid to Rest in Kogi 

The Federal Government has been charged to take drastic steps in addressing the insecurity in the country.

President, Trade Union Congress, TUC, Comrade Quadri Olaleye made the call at the burial of the Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Musa Lawal Ozigi at Okene, Kogi State.

Comrade Olaleye said the call has become imperative in view of the senseless killings of Nigerians by terrorists and bandits.

He appealed to President Muhammad Buhari to as a matter of urgency take proactive steps to address the security challenges across the nation.

The TUC President described the late Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Musa Lawal Ozigi as a commitment member who stood for the cause of the oppressed in the struggle for justice.

Comrade Olaleye reassured of the determination of the TUC for a safer Nigeria where the lives of all matters.

He prayed God to grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Kogi State Government in a message to the burial represented by the Head of Service, Hannah Odiyo condoled with the family of the deceased and assured of government’s support.

It would be recalled that the late Secretary General of TUC was among the dead when terrorists bombed the train conveying passengers from Abuja to Kaduna.
