The Kogi State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has constituted its campaign council ahead of the November 11 governorship election in the State.
Membership of the campaign council was announced on Tuesday in a statement by the campaign spokesperson, Faruk Adejoh-Audu.
Adejoh-Audu said with the constitution of the campaign council, the party is ready to kick off its electioneering activities in earnest.
”In furtherance of its plans towards the November 11, 2023 governorship elections in Kogi, the Murtala Ajaka Gubernatorial Campaign Organization of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) aka Muri/Sam Campaign has announced the composition of top hierarchy of its State Campaign Council.
“The Campaign Council is made up of top- rate technocrats, seasoned professionals and sassy politicians,” the statement partly read.
Colonel Suleiman Babanawa was named State Chairman of the campaign council, while Sheik Ibrahim Jibrin and Abdulrahman Wuya Mohammed will serve as State Director General and State Secretary respectively.
