Kogi Guber: Ododo Promises to Run All-inclusive Govt

The Kogi governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has assured the people that he will build on the existing legacy of provision of critical infrastructure by Governor Yahaya Bello and run an all-inclusive government.

He made this statement on Friday during his visit to Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji, along with thousands of his supporters from the five local government areas of the central senatorial district. They had gathered at his house in GRA Okene to receive the APC candidate.

Describing his project as a Kogi project, the governorship candidate promised to run a united and all-inclusive government, which he said would further unite the various ethnic groups in the state.

He commended Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji for his leadership qualities and his desire for a united Ebiraland, Kogi State, and Nigeria as a whole.

In his welcome remarks, Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji promised to work for the victory of the APC candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, in the November 11 governorship election in the state.

He commended APC delegates for electing Ododo as the candidate of the party, stating that he is a man who is well prepared for the job. He noted that his humility is second to none.

According to him, Ododo is trustworthy, reliable, and dependable and can be entrusted with the affairs of the state. He expressed confidence that the governor and the entire APC members have made the right choice.

He called on all the people of Kogi State to rally around the governorship candidate, stating that through his conduct, he will be a unifying force for the entire people of Kogi State, irrespective of tribe and religious affiliation.

He emphasized that the people of the state must unite and chart a common front for the overall development of the state.

He commended the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for his developmental efforts, stating that he has delivered the needed dividends of democracy to the three senatorial districts far more than his promises to the people.

He urged the people to ensure that they collect their permanent voter cards (PVCs), which he said is their power.
