Ahmed Attah has resigned his membership of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi state, consequently dumping his position as the Chairman of the Party in the state.
Attah in a public announcement on Monday, did not note his reason for resignation, but appreciated stakeholders for the opportunity to serve, adding that he will also announce his next move.
His full statement:
“Dear His Excellency Alhaji Yakubu Muritala Ajaka, esteemed party leaders, executives, and members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi State,
“I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for the opportunity to serve as the Chairman of SDP in Kogi State. It has been an honor to work alongside such dedicated and passionate individuals, and I am grateful for the experience and knowledge gained during my tenure.
“I want to thank His Excellency Alhaji Yakubu Muritala Ajaka for his leadership and vision for the party and the people of Kogi State. I also appreciate the support and cooperation I received from the executive members and all stakeholders.
“As I bid farewell and resign my membership from the SDP effective today, I am confident that the party will continue to thrive and achieve greater heights.
“I will announce my subsequent move in due time. Thank you once again for the opportunity to serve.”
