In the wave of young Nigerians perpetrating horrid activities as fraudsters, the Olubunu of Bunu land and Chairman of Bunu Traditional Council, Oba Adebayo Joseph Ikusemoro has called some of his children out for attempting to defraud unsuspecting victims with his name and letterhead.
The first-class traditional ruler on Tuesday, in a press statement received by ebirareporters.com said some of his children have engaged in the dubious act while capitalizing on his old age.
The Monarch disclosed that while some use his letterhead to solicit for financial favour, others use same to approve appointment of village heads without his notice.
While urging the public to disregard any letter written on his behalf, he added that clarifications on any correspondence be sought directly from him and not any of his sons.
“Those who may be concerned should disregard any purported letters that may have been signed on behalf of His Royal Majesty, such letters are null and void.
“We urge the general public to seek clarification on any correspondence purportedly emanating from His Royal Majesty by contacting the Royal Father himself, not through any of his sons” the statement added.
