Kogi-born Nollywood Actress, Halima Abubakar Quits Acting

Popular Nollywood Actress, Halima Abubakar who has been a subject of controversies and scandals over the years, has quit the movie industry and her acting career.

The 37 year-old who hails from Kogi State, made the announcement through her manager on her Instagram page.

Abubakar disclosed that she wouldn’t be starring in any movies henceforth.

Expressing gratitude to all her fans, she appreciated them for the love and prayers.

She wrote: “Halima Abubakar quit acting we are so grateful for all the prayers. God bless you all but as from today, she will no longer act. It is her wish. We love you all. Thank you for the support. She is so downcast. She really did love acting. Thank you”.

The Actress, according to Wikipedia, started her acting career in 2001 when she played a minor role in Rejected. Her first lead role was in Gangster Paradise. She is also the CEO of a Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company.

Following her sudden decisions, fans and friends have wished her recovery anf hopes she returns to acting soon.

The Actress has been battling an undisclosed illness for a long while now, and has many times accused and called out Popular Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman of having hand in her sickness.
