Kogi Assembly Confirms Three More Commissioner Nominees

The Kogi State House of Assembly has  screened and confirmed the appointments of three more commissioner nominees by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

 

The Speaker,Umar Aliyu Yusuf while presenting the report of Committee of the Whole on Wednesday,  disclosed that the three commissioner designates have been found worthy after thorough screening.

The newly appointed commissioners are Muhammed Muktar Shuaibu (Bassa), Wemi Jones (Kabba/Bunu) and Anyebe Aridaojo Monday (Olamaboro).

Recall that the State Assembly had confirmed 15 commissioners on Tuesday. 

With the new additions, the Assembly has successfully screened 18 Commissioners, all of whom were asked to take a bow and go.

The first batch of 15 commissioners confirmed by the eighth assembly include Farouk Danlami Yusuf, Salami Ozigi-Deedat, Basiru Abubakar Gegu, Adams Abdulaziz, Joseph Oluwasegun Stephen.

Others were Muizideen Yinusa Abdullahi, Rabiatu Okute, Kingsley Fanwo, Fatima Momoh, Mohammed Yusuf, Timothy Ojoma, Sunday Faleke, Abanika Taye, Idris Asiru and Mohammed Adbulmutalib.
