Unknown gunmen have attacked the ECWA Church in Okedayo – Kabba and killed one of the Church members, Ebira Reporters gathered.
The gunmen in their numbers also reportedly kidnapped three other members of the Church.
The attack followed the invasion of the Federal Minimum Correctional Centre in Kabba, and also the abduction of three poultry farmers from their farm, all in the same part of the state.
The abductors were said to have attacked the church situated along the express way of Kabba-Okene road while the service was still ongoing.
The attack also came barely two days after the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo accused politicians of being responsible for security breaches in the state.
Fanwo said that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State had put in place security architectures to ensure the safety of the people, stressing that some politicians were trying to thwart such plans.
