The youths of Ebiraland under the aegis of Ebira Youths Elites Organization (EYEN) has appealed to the Kogi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdulsalam Deedat to pardon an Abuja based fashion designer, Fortune Omuya who is facing charges on false accusation and defamation.
Omuya was reprimanded in the Kabba Correctional Service by the Court till December 7th for continuation of the suit filed by the Commissioner.

The accused later deleted the post from his timeline, but refused to heed to the seven days window of public apology given to him by the Commissioner.
In a statement signed by the President of Ebira Youths Elites Organization, Ahmed Safiyah Beauty, the organization urged the Commissioner to be merciful as an elder statesman.
“In a classical society, crisis is inevitable and history has established this as a fact but with every crisis comes calm.
“In all honesty, there was a breach of line and mutual respect and the rod has been drawn to ensure redress and we can say that caution has been duly taken at this point.
“However we seek that your temper justice with mercy as an elder statesman. Do kindly consider the plight of his kits and kin Sir. Abnitio one would say he should have considered that before taken such step but then the deed has been done and utmost awareness of the derogatory mannerism has been taken note of.
