Abducted Kogi Students Regain Freedom


The kidnapped three students of Kogi State Polytechnic, and a staff of Confluence University of Technology Osara have regained the freedom from their abductors.

The victims were kidnapped while returning from a night vigil at the Living Faith Church Osara.

A source close to the family of one of the victims who confirmed their release, could not disclose whether ransom was paid.

Recall that the kidnappers initially demanded a ransom of N30 million to secure their release, N10million for each of them. After much pleading, the abductors reduced the ransom to N3 million.
