If all goes according to his plans to clinch his party’s Presidential ticket and win the 2023 general elections, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello said he will appoint a female as his vice.
Bello said this on Friday at the “Second Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political and Crime Correspondents”.
The Governor expressed the wish to appoint Nigeria’s first female Vice President, with his party’s approval.
“If I am given the free hand to choose, I will not leave the constituency of my mother. I would love to have the first female VP in 2023, ” he said.
Responding to a question about his economic plans for the country including his recent pledge to make 20 million Nigerians millionaires by 2030 if he succeeds President Muhammadu Buhari, he said he made over 2000 in Kogi millionaires as Governor.
“We have made nothing less than 2,000 millionaires in Kogi,” Bello said.
Last Saturday, Bello formally declared to run for President in 2023, with a promise to build on Buhari’s legacy by adopting the Igbo apprenticeship system to create millionaires.
