The Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Amb. Sola Enikanolaiye as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
In a statement on Thursday, Abejide described the elevation of Enikanolaiye from Special Adviser to Minister as a well deserved appointment, owing to his experience as a career diplomat with over three decade of service.
“He has previously served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and held key diplomatic positions, therefore, there is no doubt he will surely bring his wealth of experience into this new role to support the senior Foreign Minister in strengthening international relations and fostering economic diplomacy to boost trade and investment.
“It is with immense pleasure and dignity that I extend my warmest congratulations to my elder brother, an exceptional individual, Amb. Sola Enikanolaiye, on his well-deserved appointment as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
