2023: Ogirima Raji Makes List of Presidential Aspirants from Kogi Central

A Nigerian entrepreneur and politician, Ogirima Raji has made the list of aspirants from the central senatorial district of Kogi State vying for the number one seat in Nigeria.

The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello already visibly in the heat of consultations across the nation, and Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim who has already secured the presidential ticket of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) are the other two from the same senatorial district.


Now the third man in the fire, Raji who has shown interest to run for the Presidential seat under the All Progressives Congress, APC, is the co-founder of Save Nigeria and Nigerian Economic Movement.

He was born on the 8th day of July 1975, and the last child in a family of five children and has other step brothers and sisters. He hails from Obehira in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Ogirima joined active politics in 2007, when he aspired for the position of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

In 2011, he contested in the governorship primaries election of Kogi State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

In 2015, he joined the kowa Party and contested for the Governorship position of Kogi State.
