Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed Professor Solomon Avidime as the Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Reference Hospital Okene.
The appointment was contained in a letter by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, and to take effect from July 24th, 2023.
“This is sequel to your experience, competence and exceptional capabilities in Health Sector. It is believed that you shall carry out the task of ensuring proper set-up and effective take-off of the Hospital.
“It is hoped that you will repose the confiderice His Excellency, the Governorhas in vour abilities. Note that this appointment is for an initial period of two (2) years and subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance,” she said.
The Reference Hospital Okene, built by Governor Bello, was commissioned by former President Muhammadu Buhari in December 2022.
