NYSC Corps Member Sews Clothes for Children in Kogi Orphanage 

A Corps member of the National Youths Service Corps, serving in Kogi State, Ms. Obioma Peace Mmuojama has sewn clothes for less privileged children at Omolayo Home Care Orphanage in Mopa-Muro local government area of the state. 

The Corps member who who disclosed that the act of service was her first NYSC Personal Community Development Service, added that she was inspired by the need to give back to the society. 

In addition to the clothes, the children also got foot-wears and food stuffs.

“I saw the need to give back to the society then I came up with the idea of sewing clothes for all the children at Omolayo home care orphanage, with the help of my trainer, the clothes were ready within one week.

“The food stuff and foot wears that were added to the clothes were from the supports gotten from well meaning Nigerians. The good Lord will continue to bless the hands that gives,” she said.
