The Vice Chairman of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Ojati Joy Omaga has died.
The Chairman of the Local Government, Musa Muhammad Lawal announced the passing of the Mrs Omaga in a statement.
According to the statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Adama Abubakar, the Vice Chairman died on Saturday, describing it as sudden.
“The entire Ofu Local Government, the critical Stakeholders, and the party faithful will forever miss your presence, your contribution towards the development of Ofu Local Government during the time when you were elected as the Vice Chairman will not be forgotten.
“The Executive Chairman Musa Muhammed Lawal,prayed to Almighty God to accept all her shortcomings and grant her departed soul in the Bossom of the Lord.
“The burial arrangements we will be announced to the public as soon as possible by Ofu Local Government Councils.”
