The Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi has expressed immense gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for citing university in his domain.
Oba Owoniyi stated this when members of Coalition of Kogites for Ododo 2023 paid a courtesy visit to his palace.
The Monarch while welcoming the group, urged the electorates to shun thuggery and violence during and after election while praying for the group’s candidate to be victorious even as he said all candidates are his subject.
The group led by its Chairman, Mr. Abdulgafar Ozovehe AbdulAzeez was in Kabba on a familiarization visit.
Mr Ozovehe had earlier led the group to meet separately with the Kabba/Bunu APC Stakeholders and Ebira Indigenes living in the area respectively.
While speaking at the meeting, the chairman said the mission of the group is to unite Kogi citizens for good governance. He further stated that Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman represent unity and good governance.
The coordinator of the group, AbdulRazaq Omeiza Salihu said Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello stands for unity, equity and justice and has brought significant development to the state, hence the need for continuity.
He pleaded with the Obaro to urge his people to support the candidate of Ododo for continuity and progress.
