The Majority Leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Suleiman Abdulrazaq has kick-started issuance of tuition grants to tertiary students from his constituency.
Abdulrazaq who represents Okene I constituency, launched the education intervention as the first project of his newly established Non-Governmental Organization, SAS Help Foundation.
In a statement on Monday, the lawmaker expressed delight in launching his foundation, with the mission to focus on human capital and community development, advocacy for key issues and improved healthcare.
“In line with this, my team and I have approved the SAS School Fees Support Grant for undergraduates as the foundation’s maiden project. This is particularly for students who may be facing financial challenges with their academic pursuits.
“Students who meet the requirements and get selected for the first phase of this grant shall receive their grants on or before Friday, 10th of November, 2023.
“The grant is totally free. No processing fee is required,” he said.

📍 You must be a student be a student in any of the Nigeria tertiary institutions.

📍 Must be an indigene of Okene I constituency(others may be considered).
