Kidnapped Adogu of Eganyi Regains Freedom

The abducted Adogu of Eganyi in Kogi State Muhammed Adambe has been freed.

The first class monarch was released on Saturday evening after spending five days in kidnappers’ den.

A source close to the palace said “after a very long and tortuous journey into the bush, his captors returned him to Ebiraland Saturday evening.”

The source said the royal father could not tell exactly where he was taken but believed that it was outside Ebiraland.

He praised God for his safe return, adding he came back unhurt.

The source however could not confirm whether or not ransom was paid to secure Adambe’s release from his captives.

His abductors had demanded N30 million ransom.

The Adogu of Eganyi was kidnapped last Tuesday along the Okene-Ajaokuta road while returning from an engagement in Okene.
