The President of Khalif Cares Foundation, Dr. Khalifa Abdulrahaman Okene on Sunday felicitated with Christians in Nigeria on the 2024 Easter celebration.
In a felicitation message made available to our correspondent, the foremost humanitarian hailed Christians for offering themselves as part of the strong fibres holding the nation together, particularly in troubled times.
He preached the promotion of peace, love and sacrifice as the significance of the season.
“We have often times celebrated the beauty of our unity in diversity, and we cannot but emphasize the impact of our Christian faithfuls in this bond, hence our progress as a people.
“Easter holds much significance in the demonstration of daring sacrifice, peace and love for humanity. It is important to note that these three are the major pillars of progress and development for every thriving nation. It is on this occasion, that I enjoin all of us to be a reflection of the import of these messages.
“Therefore, I use this opportunity to felicitate with my brothers, sisters, friends and staff who are celebrating the season. I pray God answers our prayers, and envelope us with glad tidings,” he stated.
