Olayinka Braimoh, the candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in the Kogi November gubernatorial election has expressed optimism that he will be elected the next governor of the state.

The AA gubernatorial candidate said the people of the state are looking up to him to bring them out of their anguish and pain.
He spoke on Saturday while receiving some defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Young Progressive Party (YPP) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at his campaign office in Lokoja.
“I hereby declare to you today that by God’s grace I’m the next Governor of Kogi. I will move Kogi from a visionless to a visionary state.
“That’s why I’m confident to say that this is my turn and time to rule Kogi after Bello, to give some succour to my people by turning around the fortunes of the state
“This is my assignment and I am ready to execute it to the expectations and joy of the citizens of kogi, ” he stated.
Braimoh said receiving defectors from APC, PDP and YPP was a testimony that people were looking up to AA to help deliver them from poverty and hunger.
According to him, the people should not be afraid to rally around him in the quest as he is unstoppable in taking over Kogi on Nov. 11.
The three leaders of the defecting groups from YPP, PDP and APC took time to address the crowd at the AA campaign secretariat.
Messers Ibrahim Muhammed, YPP Zonal Chairman, Kogi West; Isiaka Haruna, PDP Uboro/Ohepe Ward in Okehi Local Government Area and Salaudeen Abdulraheem, former APC Youth Leader, Adavi LGA, took turns to explain their reasons for defecting to AA.
