“Faith like a mustard seed” is a biblical metaphor used by Jesus in Matthew 17:20 to illustrate that even a tiny, seemingly insignificant amount of genuine faith—if rooted in God—has the power to achieve monumental results, such as moving mountains.
This was the case of a Facebook user, Enessi Oyiza Racheal who used the platform to send an open plea to the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche for a crusade in her hometown, Okene, Kogi State.
To the dismay of many, her faith has yielded results as Pastor Enenche heard her call, responded and approved his first ever crusade in Okene.
According to a flier shared on the official page of the Church, the crusade has been scheduled for April 13th – 14th, 2026; featuring free medical support, free welfare and transportation for attendees.
Her Public Plea
Grace and peace to you. I write carrying the longing of many in Okene, Kogi State a town thirsty for the move of God we have seen through your ministry across Nigeria and beyond. From televised crusades to city-wide gatherings, we have watched Dunamis bless Abuja, maiduguri, sokoto, Kano, zamfara to mention a few and nations abroad; testimonies of healing and salvation reach us here, yet we have never hosted you. Each time I sit under your ministration by watching video clips of crusades held within and outside Nigeria, I ask God: When will this happen in Okene, my hometown? I pray and hope that someday Okene will be remembered.
Okene is a town full of traders, farmers, students, families facing daily hardship and spiritual battles. The last time our land witnessed a truly powerful crusade was over two decades ago, when the late Evang. Reinhard Bonnke came. Since then, we have hungered for such outpouring once again a night when heaven touches earth, the sick go home healed, prodigals return and all manner of deliverance happening.
We are ready to work mobilise prayer, coordinate with local pastors, secure a venue. What we cannot do is carry the mantle you carry. Daddy and mummy please 🙏 😢 consider Okene. Not because we are great, but because we are needy. Even one crusade night would mark our history and shift our destiny.
