A gang of gunmen have kidnapped a Chinese engineer from his road construction site in Obangede, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi state.
The gunmen reportedly invaded the site on Thursday morning, and killed an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), identified as Bajeh Abdulwahab.
The name of the Chinese national was yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
The abduction occurred barely two days after Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo inspected the construction site.
