A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State and leader of the party in Lokoja local government, Hon. Bologi Danlami Yabagi, said the party was poised to form the next government in Kogi and at the federal level.
Speaking with journalists in Lokoja, Bologi, a former commissioner for Information, Industry and Commerce and the Commissioners’ Forum chairman, said the ADC is led by respected Nigerians and that Kogi is fortunate to have Senator Tunde Ogbeha, a seasoned administrator with a strong moral compass, in its ranks.
“Senator Ogbeha is regarded as the father of Kogi State, a man who commands respect across the board, including across party lines,” he said.
“Look at our national leadership, starting with our National Chairman, Senator David Mark, a man of high character who has played many roles in stabilising the country. This time, he’s going to rescue the country,” Bologi added.
He described the ADC as the only viable and practical opposition party in the country today, urging Kogi residents to embrace the party for greater development.
He also appealed to residents to join the ongoing membership registration so that they can take part in the party’s primaries at all levels.
