The Chairman House Committee on Customs and Excise, Leke Abejide has described the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the best among all candidates in the country.
Abejide, who is the House of Representatives candidate of ADC for Yagba federal constituency in Kogi State, said Tinubu will work make Nigeria a prosperous nation.
He made this known when he paid a surprise visit to the APC Kogi West stakeholder’s meeting which held at the Tinubu/Shetima Presidential Campaign Council(PCC) in Abuja on Friday.
The meeting was at the instance of Hon James Abiodun Faleke, the secretary of the Tinubu/Shetima Presidential Campaign Council.
Attending the stakeholder’s meeting in company of his stanch supporters from Kogi State, Hon. Leke Abejide, who is a national leader of ADC, reteirated his support and commitment to Tinubu’s presidential victory.
Àbejide said his loyalty is to Tinubu alone who he said has rendered help to him on several occasions even while in another party.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remain my candidate and benefactor. I have every reason to support Asiwaju and the APC.
“Look at what he achieved in Lagos State, this clearly shows he possesses the capacity and the strength to turn the fortune of Nigeria around. I don’t mind whose ox is gored, I don’t care even it will cost me my mandate, myself and constituents will support and vote Asiwaju come 2023,” he said.
The lawmaker urged youth from Kogi West to remain united in their steadfastness and support towards Asiwaju’s presidential victory come 2023.
He made donation of N3.5M as support to the APC youths present at the event. According to him, the sum is to be shared among the youths in the 7LGAs of Kogi West.
While responding on behalf of the youth, Mr. Alamoh Kehinde Samuel, the Secretary for APC PCC National Youth Mobilization Directorate (North Central), thanked the lawmaker for his unrelenting support for the APC Presidential candidate describing him as the true friend of Kogi masses.
Alamoh said the youth are aware of his numerous empowerment and poverty alleviation programs championed by him in his constituency and even in other constituency, he urge him to extend the magnanimity to other Senatorial zones in the state.
