We’re Making Efforts to Rescue our Abducted Workers – Ceramics Company 

The West African Royal Ceramics Company whose workers were abducted on Wednesday in Kogi State said efforts are on to ensure the safe return of the kidnap victims. 

The Public Relations Officer of of the company, Hassan Illugbami Igo in a statement made available to journalists on Thursday assured that security agencies have been mobilized to track down the criminals and rescue the victims.

“Yes it’s true that some of our workers were abducted on Wednesday by unknown gunmen, but the management is already on top of the situation.

“We have involved the Area commander, the DSS and together they have initiated all the necessary moves required, we have equally reached out to the families of those that were abducted and assured their of their safety.

“This is Just to let the public and their families know that all hands are on deck to get the captives released and united back with their families.

The workers were kidnapped by gunmen at Emiworo in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of the state while loading their trucks with stones to be transported to the company.
