Senator Adeleke to Chair PDP Campaign in Kogi

Ahead of the November 11th governorship election in Kogi State, the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has set up campaign council to coordinate campaign in the state.


A document which was signed and released by party’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, yesterday, showed that the Kogi campaign team would be chaired by Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The campaign council, according to the statement, consist of no fewer than 120 members who will spearhead the party’s candidate, Dino Melaye’s campaign in Kogi.

To assist him in carrying out the task are: Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang, who is to serve as Depty Chairman.

Other members of the committee include: Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, former Senate President, David Mark, former PDP National Chairman, Ahmadu Ali among others.

Baring any last minute change, the committees will be inaugurated on Wednesday, August 2, at the National Executive Committee Hall, at the National Secretariat.
