CMD Reference Hospital Okene, Prof Avidime Meets Religious Leaders of Ebira Land

The Chief Medical Director of Reference Hospital Okene, Prof. Solomon Avidime on Tuesday met with the religious leaders of Ebira Land.

In a separate meeting, Prof. Avidime had paid a courtesy call on the Chief Imam of Ebira Land, Alh Salihu Abere at his residence in Okene, with prominent Islamic scholars in attendance.

Following the meeting, the CMD received in audience, the Kogi Central Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by the Chairman, Pastor Job Akpaana and the Bishop of Anglican Communion, Okene Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Onsachi.

The CMD Prof. Avidime who intimated the religious leaders that the city is blessed with the world class hospital built by his Governor Yahaya Bello, stating that the facility was well equipped to cater for the health needs of the people of the state and beyond.

He noted the hospital will attract medical tourism to Ebira land and will boost the economy of the people.

Prof Avidime sought their prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, as well as management and staff of the hospital.

He also solicited their support in making the hospital fulfil its mandate as well as serve their followers.

He further reiterated that the hospital is affordable and emphasized emphasized the need to educate faithfuls to take advantage of low cost to access healthcare services in the hospital
Both religious leaders eulogized the Governor, and prayed for the Chief Medical Director for a resounding success during his tenure.

They promised to educate followers to seek healthcare services in the hospital in view of the affordability and the availability of specialised services.
