Philanthropist Promises Education Support for Children of Kogi Teacher Who Committed Suicide

After the story and picture of a primary school teacher in Kogi State who committed suicide went viral, a Facebook user and philanthropist has promised to sustain the orphaned children in school.

The good Samaritan, Kemi Sisi Eko, made the promise while reacting to the story shared on Facebook by a Facebook user, Citizen Nagaziman.

Recall that Ebira Reporters unraveled the almost hidden story of Late Mrs Yusuf Khadijat Bosede, who jumped inside a well in Okuhapa-Obangede community.

She was a primary school teacher with the Okehi Local Government Education Authority in Kogi State.

She was the benefactor of the family since her husband, Yusuf Ojenya died and left behind, five children.

Now orphaned are Abu Ize Barikisu, a student at Federal College of Education Zaria, Ibrahim Onuyi Ojenya just graduated from secondary school, Isiyaq Onimisi Ojenya seeking admission l, Maryam Ojenya in SSS 2 and Kuburat Ojenya in SSS1.
