Netizen Laments Theft of Green Grasses from Zone 8 Roundabout

Zone 8 Roundabout

An X (formerly Twitter) user has taken to the platform to express his feelings about the current state of the Zone 8 roundabout in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

David Sule particularly compared the state of the roundabout when it was newly constructed by the state government barely a year ago, and what has become of it after the green grasses were stolen by unknown persons.

The Zone 8 roundabout is a popular landmark in the the state capital, connecting three major entry points into the Lokoja towns from the Lokoja-Abuja highway.

Upon reconstruction of the roundabout, the government went with the applauded design concept showcasing the state as a confluence of opened doors and opportunities.

However, according to Sule, thieves have wiped of the greens off the roundabout.

He said, “This is the new roundabout built by the Kogi State Governor in Lokoja, the capital as at last year. Next photo is the present state of the place as of today while I passed there. A very ugly state that the Governor is trying to build, citizens have packed the green grass. Mtchewww”
