“The Legend of Inikpi,” an epic movie produced by Veteran Actress Mercy Johnson Okojie, has made its way to Amazon Prime after successfully selling out seats in cinemas across Nigeria.
The movie tells a true-life story of the 16th century Igala Kingdom, in an impending war with the Bini Kingdom that only the life of the renowned Igala princess, Inikpi could guarantee victory.
The epic movie Directed by Frank Rajah Arase, made its first outing to cinemas in 2020, after a rigorous production in locations in Kogi, Edo, and Lagos states; as well as Atlanta Georgia.
Top amongst the cast, Sam Dede, Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Paul Obazele, Mercy Johnson Okojie, and Nancy Ameh who was scouted by the producer during her talent hunt project in Kogi state.
Breaking the news via Instagram, Mercy Johnson expressed delight, urging viewers to watch the movie and give her feedback.
“I worked so hard on that project and I am certain you are going to love it. Please subscribe to Amazon Prime and watch the legend of Inikpi, it is a masterpiece,” she said.
