Preparations for the 11th edition of Ebira Carnival are on top gear, even as the Ebira Carnival Group has appreciated everyone who has supported the project,, assuring that the 2021 edition would be a showcase of cultural excellence.
The Carnival has been the rallying point for the Ebira people in diaspora and home, being treated to special delicacies, cultural displays and entertainment extraordinaire.
The group in a statement sent to ebirareporters.com said:
“This year Carnival is coming with a lot of modification and it’s uniqueness , as we keep progressing and celebrating, we present the 11th Edition of showcasing our rich cultural heritage and bringing together the good people of Ebiraland, both home and in diaspora.
Ebiraland has become an annual destination for tourists, the last eleven years with the support of all has changed our sociocultural landscape.
To mark this year event, the Carnival programmes have been scheduled as follows:
29th Dec, 2021 – Pre-Carnival picnic.
31st Dec, 2021 – The street parade and Grand Command Reception.
This year event promises to be a blast.
