‘Last Ramadan as Governor’: Yahaya Bello Prays for Peaceful Polls, Transition 

As his tenure winds down, Governor Yahaya Bello has noted that the just concluded 2023 Ramadan will be his last Ramadan as governor of the state.

Governor Bello noted this at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Center, Lokoja where he observed the Eid-el-Fitr prayers.

Bello called on Muslim faithfuls to pray for a peaceful governorship polls scheduled to hold in the state on November 11th, as well as a smooth transitioning to the next administration.

He urged the citizens to remain united and law abiding.

The governor vouching for his preferred successor, assured that what his New Direction Administration had achieved, the flagbearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo would definitely achieve more.

The governor urged every citizen to support, pray and vote for the APC flag bearer, ensuring that he emerged victorious in the next gubernatorial election.

Governor Bello admonished each and every one to offer prayers for leaders cutting across traditional, religious, local, state and the national leaders. He specifically asked for Prayer for president Muhammadu Buhari, the President-Elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kasheem Shetima.

In his felicitations he said ‘’I wish all of my brothers and sisters, Barka De Salah, may all of our prayers, supplications and act of Ibadah be accepted by God and all that we have prayed for granted by Almighty Allah’’

“Let us continue to be law abiding citizens and ensure that we play by the rules of the game and success is guaranteed,” he concluded.
