Kogi Senator Disburses Bursary to 3,000 Students

Senator Steve Sunday Karimi Education Foundation has announced the launch of a scholarship scheme for students of Kogi State origin enrolled in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

The foundation, which disclosed this to the public on Wednesday, stated that 1,390 students from the Kogi West senatorial district in public tertiary institutions will benefit from the bursary award.

It also noted that under the Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award, 1,000 students from the Kogi Eastern Senatorial District and 610 students from the Central Senatorial District studying in public tertiary institutions nationwide will receive bursaries.

According to the foundation, the bursary award will run from August 1st to August 31st, 2025, with each successful beneficiary receiving one hundred thousand naira only (N100,000).

It is recalled that the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, during his second year in office last month (June), announced the bursary scheme and assured that it would benefit students from all three senatorial districts in Kogi State.
