Kogi Mourns Ex Trade Bank Boss, FG Ibrahim

The Kogi State Government has mourned the passing of the former Executive Director of the defunct Trade Bank, Alhaji Funsho Ganiyu Ibrahim, FCA, describing him as a national asset whose life embodied service, excellence, and integrity.

In an official statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the government paid tribute to the legacy of the late Ibrahim, who once served as Executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area and as an Executive Director at the defunct Trade Bank of Nigeria.

Until his passing, Alhaji F.G. Ibrahim was the President/CEO of Fraggi Nigeria Limited. He was also an alumnus of Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, and widely respected for his contributions to both the public and private sectors.

“Alhaji F.G. Ibrahim was not only a trailblazing professional but also a committed public servant who carried the torch of Yagba and Kogi State with pride across national platforms,” the statement read.

Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on behalf of the government and people of Kogi State, extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and the entire Yagba East community.

 

“His legacy will continue to inspire many. May Almighty Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort all those he has left behind,” the statement concluded.
