Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Monday visited the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, in Abuja and lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing an indigene of the state to that post.
The Governor, who described the appointment as well deserved, said it was also based on Adeyanju’s strong commitment to hard work and dedication to the cause of national development.
During the visit, Ododo emphasised the need for collective effort to drive development in Kogi State and Nigeria, saying that they needed to work as a team and take advantage of the good deeds of President Tinubu and spread development across the country.
Governor Ododo said, “I am happy to meet you today, Tosin. Your appointment is a testament to your dedication and hard work. I have no doubt that you will excel in your new role and make Kogi State proud.”
The Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, in his response, thanked Governor Ododo for his visit and promised to make Kogi State and Nigerians proud in his new role.
He described the governor as a humble man, committed to the welfare of the people of Kogi State.
