From the song titled: “I wish you happy birthday”, sang by the late Nigerian female reggae musician named Evi Edna Ogholi is a line that says, “birthday comes once in a year…” It is on this true statement that Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu, the Director General, Government House Administration (DGGHA), Lokoja is joyfully celebrating the birthday of Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku the Chief of Staff to His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
Speaking from his residence in Agassa, Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu felicitated with the Chief of Staff saying, ” I give thanks to God for bringing you to this world on a day like this and same time making you to be part of those alive to witness yet another birthday. Despite the vicissitudes that life often present to us as mortals, God in His infinite mercies has kept you and also paved the way for you to weather all the storms of life no matter how boisterous they appear to be.” He praised the celebrant for his dint of hard work that has brought him this far in life.
The DGGHA added that, “this birthday celebration of Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku calls for much of our fervent prayers for him and his entire family. Out of the love we have for them, we need to present them before God to continuously shield them from the fiery darts of the evil ones.” He added that, “our supplications to God on a special day like this that the Chief of Staff was brought forth to this world will surely get to the ears of God almighty to secure and return safely his mother that was abducted some weeks back.”
Alh. Dr. Umar Oricha Shuaibu also committed the Chief of Staff into the hands of God saying, ” Pharm. Asuku is a young man so favoured and given attention by God. It is my prayers that he will continue to excel in leaps and bounds and scaling every obstacle that may want to impede his progress in life.”
Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku serving as the Chief of Staff to the governor of Kogi State graciously turned 38 years today 2nd January, 2022.
