The House of Representatives member representing Kabba-Bunu constituency, Tajudeen Yusuf has defeated former Senator, Dino Melaye in the Peoples Democratic Party senate primary election in Kogi West Senatorial District.
Yusuf polled 163 votes to win the party’s ticket, while Melaye scored 99 votes.
Recall that the duo went on a runoff after earlier scoring same votes at the primary election.
Yusuf has since tweeted in response to his victory, expressing excitement.
