APC Has No Opposition in Kogi – Abdullahi Bello

The Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Bello has said that the ruling party has no opposition in the state.

Bello said this yesterday when the new State Executives whom he Chair were inaugurated.

The Chairman assured that the APC remains the Party to beat having captured the State in previous elections. maintaining that for now there is no opposition party in Kogi State.

Appealing to the newly elected Executives to live above board, he urged the new executive members to work in harmony with all levels of party members.

Performing the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony at the State Secretariat of the Party in Lokoja, the Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja described the APC in Nigeria and the State as the Party to beat in the forthcoming 2023 General Election.

The Deputy Governor urged the newly sworn-in Executive Members to see their election as a call to more service and to do more in sustaining the feats achieved by the Party, poiniting out that their reelection is a justification of the confidence reposed on them.

Onoja congratulated the new Executive Members and urged them to strive towards unity of the party from the state to the polling units levels.

He urged them to make unity and oneness the bedrock of their deliberations and focused on unity and oneness to continue to maintain the Party’s winning streak.

He described the Party as supreme, urging the newly Inaugurated Executive Members not to jump protocols as Party hierarchy remains sacrosanct.

The highlight of the inauguration of the newly sworn-in Executive Members was the administering of the oath of office by Barrister Abbas Yunusa.
