A female passenger was killed and nine others injured in two road accidents on the Abuja-Lokoja highway on Wednesday and Thursday.
A source said the first accident happened on Wednesday around 4am when a commercial Toyota Hiace with registration number, AKD 800 YG, collided with a DAF trailer with registration number, KMC 79 YR, in Kwaita village and left seven passengers injured who were rushed to the Abaji General Hospital, FCT, by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
It was gathered that the second accident happened on Thursday in Sheda village, involving a Toyota Hiace without registration number in which one person died and two others sustained injuries.
An official of the FRSC from the Yangoji Unit in the FCT who was part of the rescue team but preferred anonymity confirmed the accidents.
