The All Progressive Congress (APC) women leaders in Okene Local Government on Wednesday pledged to work assiduously for the victory of the party’s senatorial candidate, Engr. Abubakar Ohere and other candidates of the party in the forthcoming general elections.
The women gave the assurances at an interactive session with the wife of Okene Local Government Chairman, Hajia Sefiyat Abdulrazaq at the Local government secretariat in Okene.
Earlier in her address, Mrs Abdulrazaq appreciates the women for their unrelenting effort towards the party’s progress in Okene Local Government despite some obvious challenges. However, after listening to complains and grievances expressed by the women leaders, the council chairperson promised to escalate their complains to the party’s senatorial candidate, Engr. Abubakar Ohere for immediate consideration.
Hajia Sefiyat Abdulrazaq donated cash and other gift items to the party women leaders and enjoined them to do more as we look forward to landslide electoral victory for Engr. Ohere and other candidates of the party.
