Lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, James Faleke, has appealed to his constituents for support as he seeks re-election to the Green Chamber on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement marking the commencement of campaigns, Faleke highlighted his legislative record, including sponsored bills, constituency empowerment programmes, and federal employment facilitation for local youths.
“Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to serve you. We proposed and sponsored major legislation, delivered impactful constituency projects and empowerment programmes, and facilitated employment opportunities with the Federal Government for many of our constituents,” Faleke said.
He urged voters to renew their confidence in his leadership to enable him to consolidate on past achievements and advance development in the constituency.
The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to residents for their sustained backing of the APC and its candidates across various leadership levels.
He added that details of his achievements and key policy focus for the coming term will be presented to the public in the coming days.
“I am deeply grateful for the trust and support you have shown us over the years. You have stood firmly with our great party, the APC, and supported our candidates; from our President, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to our representatives at the various levels.
“As we begin this journey once again, I humbly ask that you renew your confidence in me and grant me the opportunity to serve you for another term. I assure you that I will continue to work diligently, listen to your concerns, and deliver on our shared aspirations. I will not let you down.
“In the days ahead, I will share in greater detail the achievements recorded over the past four years and outline our vision for the next term. If given the mandate once again, our focus will be to consolidate on these achievements, build on our progress, and do even more for the people of Ikeja,” he added.
