Joint operatives of the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and the Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested four suspects accused of working with terrorist groups in Kogi State.
The suspects were apprehended during an operation in the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of the state.
Security sources told counter-insurgency publication Zagazola Makama that the raid took place at about 12:11 p.m. on July 12, at Light Hotel, located along the Odumo–Kabba Road.
According to officials, the operation was executed following intelligence reports that linked the activities of the four suspects to networks supporting armed groups in the region.
The military has handed over the suspects to the DSS for interrogation, profiling, and legal action.
Security agencies stated that the arrest is part of ongoing measures to dismantle logistics lines for armed groups and secure the borders of Kogi State.
