Renowned public relations specialist, Grace Ometere Ayoola, has become the first female from Kogi state to receive the prestigious Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

This highest distinction in the PR profession is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of public relations in Nigeria.

According to experts, the NIPR Fellowship is a rigorous process that involves writing a PR-related thesis, which is professionally appraised and screened by the highly respected NIPR fellowship advisory committee.

This committee comprises distinguished professionals who combine academic excellence with outstanding professionalism.

In a statement, Ayoola’s achievement was hailed as a milestone in her career, recognizing her dedication, hard work, and impact in the industry.

“Grace is a PR and marketing communications strategist who has quickly become a sensation in the PR industry. Her success stems from her belief that success can be achieved through hard work – as long as you know what you want and go for it,” the statement read.

Ayoola, the Managing Director/CEO of Trash Movers Nigeria Limited, has successfully managed globally recognized projects and made a significant impact in the PR industry.

Her journey to the NIPR Fellowship began in July 2001 when she joined the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations as a graduate member.

She later upgraded to an associate member for five years and became a full member for 10 years. Now, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has conferred on her the highest honour – Fellow of the Institute – which represents the pinnacle of the PR profession.

Ayoola has called on the government of Kogi State to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that Kogi state is represented by a vibrant chapter in the PR profession family in Nigeria, just like the Ogun state government supported their own by hosting the National body and promoting the status of the Ogun State Chapter during the recently concluded PR week in Abeokuta.

“I believe this achievement will inspire others, especially women, to strive for excellence in their careers. I am grateful to the NIPR for this recognition and look forward to continuing to make significant contributions to the PR industry,” Ayoola said.

With this achievement, Ayoola has become a role model for young professionals in Kogi state and beyond, demonstrating that hard work and dedication can lead to the highest levels of success.
