In a romantic gesture of gratitude, a Kogi man, Ibro Abdulbaqi has gone viral on social media after he shared how he rewarded his wife for her efforts throughout Ramadan.
Abdulbaqi who posted photos and video of him on Facebook gifting his wife a phone, said it was an act of appreciation for the sleepless nights she experienced cooking for the family.
He also prayed to God to reward her.
He wrote:
“As Ramadan is going to an end, Today,I surprised my wife, mother of my kids,My partner in crime with a new phone, Tecno spark 10, 5G network, 256GB ROM, 16GB RAM extended 8GB RAM, as an act of appreciation for the sleepless nights and days all through this holy month preparing Iftar and Sahur for the family.
“May Allah reward her abundantly and accept it as an act of Ibadah.”
Netizens have since reacted to the gesture, and commended him for taking the initiative, most regarding him as a “husband material.”
