Nigerian man traveling to Kogi to lawfully wed his bride, has been kidnapped alongside his family members.
Popular X (formerly Twitter) influencer, Serah Ibrahim shared the story and disclosed that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of two hundred and fifty million Naira.
According to her, the kidnappers preferred to negotiate in Fulani or Hausa, as they did not understand English.
Ibrahim decried the spate of insecurity in the country despite the number of armed agencies.
“So many armed agencies in Nigeria but none of them can defend Nigerians, they rather use their arms to bully youths and unarmed citizens instead of fishing out terrorists and murderers on our lands.
“Small boys on barefoot and bathroom slippers are killing us with weapons that are purchased and transported through the same borders supposedly secured by our police and military.
“This country is an organised terrorist Nation,” she said.
So my mum just told me that her cousin’s fiancé and all his family members have just been kidnapped on their way to Kogi for the wedding.
