Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar stands no chance against Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State in the 2023 Presidential election.
Fani Kayode said this on Friday in an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
According to him, Governor Yahaya Bello will appeal more to millions of young people in the country.
He praised Bello as younger, stronger and more decisive than others.
He said: “I believe Yahaya Bello will appeal to million of young people in this country that we are changing the dynamics of giving power to a younger person.
“He (Bello) will defeat Atiku hands down,” Mr Fani-Kayode said. “Particularly Atiku Abubakar cannot stand against anybody in the APC, Yahaya Bello or Fashola.”
When asked whom President Muhammadu Buhari had referred to as his favorite amongst Bola Tinubu, Yemi Osinbajo, Yahaya Bello, Rochas Okorocha, Rotimi Amaechi, Goodwill Akpabio, Kayode Fayemi, Babatunde Fashola, he said he had no idea even as everyone is qualified.
