Same God that Made Me Governor is Still Alive – Gov. Yahaya Bello

Governor of Kogi State and Presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Alh. Yahaya Bello has said that the God who made him Governor is still alive to help him fulfill his desires to serve Nigeria as President.

Bello said this while addressing the National Working Committee members of the party at the National Secretariat, where he picked his expression of interest and nomination forms.

The Governor said he would do more of what he has done in Kogi if elected as the flag bearer of the party.

“When I became Governor, nobody gave me a chance but God Almighty gave me a chance. That same God is still alive, seeing our hearts and our desires to serve the country within our party and to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari and build on the successes and achievement for this great nation.

“I am happy that I’m a member of this great party and I’m serving in the capacity as a governor securing, uniting and leading Kogi State to prosperity.

“By the special grace of God, under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, and the party leadership of our dear father, Distinguished Dr. Senator Abdullahi Adamu and all the entire working committee members,” he stated.

He said when given the opportunity by the party to clinch the ticket, he would emerge the President of the country.

“I will do more of what I have done in Kogi State by ensuring that there’s security, there’s peace and there’s progress in our dear land. I sincerely appreciate all of you for giving me this opportunity, an opportunity that I will not take for granted.

“I will work hard as I used to, and I will work hard. Over 21 million Nigerians have registered and indicated willingness and interest to elect me if given the party’s nomination.

He assured that no political party would garner half of his votes if he becomes the APC flag bearer.
