Several reactions of disappointment and embarrassment have greeted the outcry by the Kogi State Beach Soccer Team stranded in Kebbi state due to lack of funds.
The team representing the state at the ongoing National Beach Soccer League needed bailout, and resorted to the general public for help.
In a public appeal sent by Sylvester Agada Sunday, and earlier published, the team was preparing to face the host, Kebbi in a second round match, but weighed down by funds.
“I am writing this passionate financial appeal on behalf of Kogi State Beach Soccer Team.
“Currently, the Team is in Kebbi State in the ongoing National Beach Soccer League.
