The outgoing administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has appointed and inaugurated caretaker chairmen for the 21 local government areas of the state.
The appointment followed the expiration of the former elected Chairmen of the local government areas in December 2023.
Governor Bello who inaugurated the new administrators on Tuesday in Lokoja, stated a timeline of six months of service pending the determination of a local government election by the incoming administration of Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He charged them to be diligent in service and take charge of their councils.
The newly appointed chairmen are:
